It may come as little surprise that I am a fan of blogging. I enjoy publishing my own material for the world to see but more than that I enjoy reading blogs. I regularly follow a large number of blogs on a huge variety of subjects covering my interests. This includes blogs on Public Relations and Marketing but also ones on fitness, food and fashion.
Since coming to university my blog following has increased dramatically and with this came the problem of keeping up to date with them all. The biggest issue is that I follow blogs published over a range of platforms including WordPress, Tumblr and self-hosted ones. Many blogging platforms offer a following option which is great but it does mean logging into several different to accounts and in this world we are always looking for an easy option.
This is how I came to discover Bloglovin. I found it on a blog I was reading and had no idea what it was so I decided to investigate. It was exactly what I was looking for! An online tool which allowed me to collate all the blogs I wanted to, categorise them to my own requirements and it let me know every time a new entry was published.
At the moment Bloglovin is mostly used by girls to follow fashion blogs but there is no reason why it cannot be used to follow any blog you are interested in. It is very easy to use and organise to meet your needs. It is also has a great mobile version which makes it easy to read blogs on the move.
You can also tie your account in with your blog which allows you to monitor followers using the site.
This tool has changed the way I follow blogs. Since signing up I read blogs more than I used to simply because I am more aware of when they are being published.
If this sounds like the tool you have been waiting for I wholeheartedly recommend signing up today, and while you are at it why don’t you start by following my blog!
